Karen Revamp 2

» Abilities/Powers: If she is in a place with at least some electricity, (telephone poles, generators, etc) she can "collect" that much electricity and then she can send electric pulses (?) through her arms with power many times stronger than the original electricity she collected  to her opponent's body, not very strong, but it can be highly effective and almost paralyzing if she uses it with systema, which is her fighting style. She can feel it, but she is sort of "immune" to it (Also she feels it much less since she's "sending it out") since she's used it so many times before. Since it's not too strong, as long as she has the electricity this requires hardly any energy. More info in the "Weapons/Fighting Style". She can also manipulate any nearby electricity and electric waves (such as waves from cellphones, radios etc) So she could cut the electricity throughout the whole section of the city to where the telephone wires are connected to, so if you took her to a generator she could cut the electricity to the whole city. But she only uses this power when she's too lazy to go turn off the light from her bed or something, not very useful.
If you just happen to be fighting with her in a thunder storm, you just threw yourself in a death bed. If there is any lightning, she can "bend" the electricity towards the opponent to hit them. If you are in rain, well. Uh, you better run. This requires a shitton of energy and concentration to control lightning so she prefers not to use it too much.

She's also decent with knives. She doesn't always have perfect aim but she can throw them fast. She can manipulate any sort of electronics running off of batteries, electricity, etc. It depends on how complex the design is though to control it.

Ability descriptions:

Electric ball (kaMEHAMEHAHA)

she's able to form a ball about the size of a Pool ball (billiard, w/e) of sheer electricity. It's much more powerful than the ordinary pulses she sends through her fingers.

she throws it like a normal ball except controlling where it hits is very easy since it's light but it doesn't budge just by wind. It kinda glides across

(sort of far range but she doesn't use it too often and it drains more energy than she wants)

Physical description-

Size: About as big as a Pool ball

It works like a waterballoon and once it hits a hard enough surface (eg a person's body) it will 'pop' and spread into the surface. So if you are hit with it, say your stomach, it'll spread through down to your mid-thigh and up to chest. 

Light trail

She can leave a "trail" of light in mid air, it doesn't do any harm, but it can light up a room for a few seconds. She usually uses this to catch the opponent's eye. 

Useful in dark places.

Physical description:

It's literally a trail of bright light in mid air. (not much needed to say)

Developing:

Electric whip

By concentrating the electricity to one arm, she can form a type of whip made of pure electricity. However, it takes a ton of energy and strength. The longer she holds it, the more energy it drains. So she probably will not use this in battle. Only on occasions. Or if she just wants to show off her skills.

Physical description:

An average whip, except obviously it's bright and sparked with electricity, basically light formed into a whip.

this is still developing and she can't hold it for too long.

Electricity shield:

Right now, she can only create weak ones, just enough to cover her small face, and it shatters like glass per hit. Right now, it takes a lot of focus and energy to create these, so she doesn't use this in battle very much.

As it develops, she'll be able to create a whole force field around her, but that is far into the future.

This skill is the most under-developed. 

Physical description: 

Sort of like a glass shield, except it has blue lines through it, like cracks. 

Systema. Systema is a type of martial arts, it does not require too much strength, instead of powerful kicks or punches, this style hits pressure points in your body, again not too powerful but it can make you not be able to move due to the pressure point effect. When she uses this martial arts style with her ability, it can almost be paralyzing. Karen also usually carries a knife around with her, but she only uses it to draw the opponent's attention to it so she can let their guard down and get closer to them distance wise easier.
-The pain of this is not like getting bruises or broken bones, it's more of sending the pain to the core of your bone, if they aren't strong and built, it's likely that their body part that was hit loses some of its strength temporarily. It basically feels like your foot falling asleep except like 10 times stronger.

-She's still developing so she might mess up every so often.
-She doesn't have much endurance, so she doesn't like fighting with fast people that run a lot.
-This is most effective on people who rely on their strength and defense.

» Biography: It was indeed not a very good idea, but Karen was walking around the city by herself, she was lost. Just thinking to herself that she can just ask someone and it would be fine, but she wanted to be alone like this for awhile longer. After getting really, really lost and didn't know where the heck she was, she found a group of.... Kids? Yes, kids. Fighting. She was surprised. She was really /really/ excited. She never talked to them, but she just watched them, fight. She became a frequent visitor, she went to the same spot everyday to spy on those kids. She became to admire them. Fighting for themselves. Training for themselves. This is exactly what she wanted. Gathering up all her courage, she got herself to talk to them to see if she could join their "group". /will update later/

Ancestors history:
Karen is 1/24 Raiju, which is a yokai (or monster) that created lightning, and people were told that the lightning was the Raiju's claws. The Raiju's powers had adapted to the modern world, taking advantage of the modern technologies.  Karen's mother never knew she had an ancestor Raiju, so she never bothered to try bringing up their ability of creating/controlling lightning. Karen still does not know that her ancestor was a Raiju, she only was able to bring up the power because she was desperate into finding a special ability within her, it was mostly her will and practice. Once she understands fully about her ancestors, her power will become more powerful, but that's wayyyy in the future.

» History:
   Karen use to be the typical sweet, polite, little girl that loved to be praised and grew up with lots of love from her parents. She was always asking to help with their chores, and tried to be helpful to her parents when they needed the help. Not only was she kind to her parents, but she also was great with other kids and adults, she was often the girl in class that solved all the problems, if a fight broke out between the students, she would go up to them and stop them, even letting them hurt her to stop the fight. Karen, overall was that child that did the best in her studies and had a great personality. Everybody loved her and she was always making new friends, both girls and boys. 

   However, it wasn't only Karen in her family that was superior and excellent with everything. She had a very successful family, her mother was at the head of the film production company and her father was the top martial arts teachers, he was always asked to teach other's students, earning great amount of money just from him teaching. She couldn't have been happier with her life. 

   This life of hers only lasted for seven years.

Being the successful and rich family they were, her family decided to take a short break from their busy jobs and go on a vacation. The place wasn't too far, only a few hours away, so the family decided to take the train to enjoy the view while riding to their hotel. Karen, very eager to go on a vacation she hasn't been in a long time, and told her parents she definitely wanted to go. 

   Once they were aboard on the train, something was wrong. The staff seemed like they were in a rush and some were panicking and wiping their sweat off from the nervousness. Karen decided to not care, and the train started. She was relieved that the train was running on the tracks smoothly until the speaker above the seats were on, "Ah- testing, testing." She assumed it was the driver of the train, but something was wrong. "Welcome aboard, everybody. We are sorry to announce this, but we have a bomb set in this train." The train was silent for a split second before everybody started panicking. Some were still in the state of shock and wasn't doing anything, many were crying, a small portion of them even fainted. Karen was just confused and didn't know what was going on. "Mommy? Daddy? What's going on?" She realized they were in the state of shock, clutching their fists so hard that their knuckles were turning white. Her Mother turned to her and answered her with a shaky voice, "It-It's going to be a-alright honey, just stay with mommy and daddy alright?" Karen only nodded, she was becoming nervous. She has never seen her parents like this. 

   She noticed a man was starting to jump off the train through the window, and again, the speaker was on, "No sir, please don't, if you get off then we will set the bomb off and everybody in here will, ah let's see...Die" The voice was laughing. The man trying to jump out the window didn't stop, perhaps he wasn't even listening to the speaker. Everybody on the train tried to stop him, some pulled on his leg to get him to not jump off, but the look on his face didn't change, it was traumatized and his eyes seemed as if it was looking at nothing, he was only trying to save his own life. 

Then there he went. Off the train.

   "We warned you" The voice in the speaker said. Then there was one click that everybody heard. There was a second of silence, but soon there was a deafening sound of a huge explosion, glass breaking, floors cracking. Metal breaking. the last thing Karen remembered was her parents desperately covering her. Then Karen lost her consciousness and blacked out. 

    The next thing she saw were women in white coats with rubber gloves on. "Ah, did you regain your consciousness? Can you talk? Do you need anything?" The women's voice was soothing, and full of sympathy. "Where's mommy and daddy?" Karen immediately asked, getting up from the bed she was in, but she felt extreme pain in her whole right arm, and her whole back stung badly. "Oh don't get up yet, your forearm is broken, your back burned and you got hit in the head, so don't get up yet" Karen obeyed and laid back down. It felt like everything was a dream, the speakers, and the big noise that she heard. Karen was wondering what she should be doing right now, and was about to fall back asleep until she heard the murmuring of the nurse's voices. 

"Have you heard that the terrorists attacked the train? And from rumors the bomb set off because a man was trying to jump off the train!"

"Oh no, How scary. The girl must have lost her parents in that too." 

"Yes, I'm sure she did"

Hearing that, Karen immediately knew they were talking about herself. Filled with shock, she was traumatized for a great amount of time. Night after night she cried herself to sleep, whispering how much she missed them every night in the hospital room. 

    After a month of shock and despair she started to feel nothing for everything else besides anything about her parents. She became extremely rude to adults, and she forgot how to truly smile and laugh from the bottom of her heart. Every smile she gave after that was fake. All just for show. At age nine, she was taken to the orphanage and spent her life there for another couple months, there, Karen was known for being the "unfriendly, or rude girl", but one day a couple in their late 30's adopted her. They treated her like she was their own child, but Karen couldn't get herself to love them like she loved her real parents. She often left the house without letting them know, and found an empty, quiet field to have a time by herself. Then the memories of the nurses talking came back to her, then something clicked inside of Karen.

    "That's right.. I can fight for myself. I can destroy them... I can kill the terrorists and bury them in misery just like they did to me.." Then for the first time in two years she had smiled from the bottom of her heart, but it was a little different, her smile right now was more filled with hate, and revenge. Karen started to train herself again with systema, her Father has taught her since she was a toddler, and she had a talent for it. She had completely forgotten it until now. She joined many dojo's to train herself into the shape she was two years ago, and she easily earned a black belt at age 10. She was asked if she wanted to start to compete, but she rejected their offer, since the only thing she wanted now was revenge. 

"That's right, I can fight for myself. I can fight for my parents. I can fight with this body my parents gave me.."
